Protecting Oldest City portion of firefighter's duties
When I visited the St. Augustine Fire Department, I met Abby Taylor, a 25-year-old rookie and only female with the department. She agreed to be featured for an article, and I spent three hours on a Friday with Taylor and Lt. Chris Pacetti. Afte the interview, I was put in a fire suit, and did some simulating training in the bay area. After that expereince, I have a newfound respect for firefighters.
