Council approves plan in 3-1 split

The Kerrville 2050 Comprehensive Plan was a hot topic in the spring and summer of 2018. It covers a variety of issues, from land use and economic development to managing growth and parks and open space.

City council votes on the passage of the Kerrville 2050 plan Tuesday during session at the Callioux Theater. Voting in favor of the plan were City Mayor Bill Blackburn, Councilmember Place 3 Judy Eychner and Councilmember Place 4 Delayne Sigerman. Voting against the plan was Councilmember Place 2 George Baroody.
